Crucifix From Guard

From guard pull out your feet so you’re kind of in a spider position spider there left arm with your right leg leaning to your right side

Their right arm should be put behind your left ear.

You’re going to want to put your left leg through to hook the back arm secure they’re right arm and put their face on the ground.

Armbar/grind down their tricept of their left arm

You can also grab their right arm from behind them and squeeze it closer to you.

If they free their left arm, then you can turn that into a face down armbar

Small details

  • Use your right foot to push their knee out to flatten them out more
  • the foot that is hooking their arm should also be straight to cause more discomfort
 

Cross Choke

  • Grab opposite side… deep in the collar

    • Move hips so you open up the the angle on the lapel

    • Use outside of forearm to press in and down
    • Pull down with arm and leg

Arm Bar

  • Take wrist with hand on same side
  • Other hand goes under to the elbow of the arm you have
    • Pull opposite direction, like an arm drag
    • This grips stays the entire time
  • On the side of the arm you have, put leg on hip
  • Squeeze the trapped arm against their body
  • Swing opposite leg on to their back
    • Your toes should stick out to help press the body down
    • This pressure is the key
  • Take hand on wrist and put on closest shoulder to bring opponent down
  • Replace that hand with free leg
  • Squeeze knees and make legs heavy
  • Lift hips into arm bar
 

Triangle

  • The same arm you push down, that leg left over their head
    • Get hips up
    • Adjust holding your shin
    • Pull their arm across and make leg heavy
  • Be sure to swing out
  • Slowly pull head down
    • Other
    • Inch back on shoulders if necessary
    • Hold their back leg if necessary
  • Without pushing down arm
    • Take lapel and arm grip, cross grip for lapel and same side arm… as if you are going to sweep them
    • Push on bottom of knee of opposite leg
    • When they put out arm to compensate for knee, quickly move leg back and over
 

Opponent has hand on belt

  • Break with two on one, put his hand next to your ear

  • Triangle
    • Keep the cross choke
    • If it does not work, transition to traditional triangle with moving arm over and moving to the side
  • Reverse (if he blocks the choke with other hand)
    • Take hand with other hand you are using for choke
    • Putt hipscape out and put free elbow on the ground

Gomaplata

  • Break grip and drag arm across
  • Put leg under their chin, same side as arm you pulled
  • Three submissions from there
    • Reach around and grab your foot
    • Put other foot far down back and squeeze, you back of head if necessary
    • Arm bar
 

Omaplata

  • Break grip of arm you are going to pull
  • Secure pants on side you are going to work on
    • But be sneaky about taking the leg
  • Move leg over their shoulder while rolling
    • This leg action is the key, really slam down the leg
  • Don’t let go of the pants
  • Site up and move up their body
  • Move toward their head and even lift off ground
 

Drag Arm to opposite shoulder

  • Take arm (their left) and put to opposite ear
  • Slide left hand behind head
  • Take back while keeping them in guard
  • Slide right arm over and in and grab lapel
  • Choke and straighten legs
    • If this does not work, slide hips and work arm bar
